Overview
The Gemini 105MC is a popular 34-foot cruising catamaran known for its ability to fit in standard monohull slips (14-foot beam) and its shallow draft (around 2 ft with boards up), making it excellent for coastal and island hopping. Designed by Tony Smith, it offers surprising interior volume, a large cockpit, and unique features like retractable asymmetric centerboards for good windward performance.
Oasis is equiped to be fully off grid with Lithium batteries, abundant solar, a large freezer and a watermaker.
If you want to explore remote anchorages in the Atlantic Provinces, cruise the Bahamas and Caribbean, "Gunk hole" in the Chesapeake Bay or enjoy the Great Loop, Oasis will take you there.

Propulsion
The Gemini 105MC is equipped with a Westerbeke 30b diesel engine coupled to a Sillette Sonic sail drive.
The newer loose footed 340 square feet mainsail carries a large roach and full battens. The 150% genoa carries 350 square feet and is controlled by a power furling system.
A special feature on Oasis is the factory optional flat-cut overlapping genoa known in the multihull world as a "screecher". This 490-square-foot sail produces spinnaker performance without adding a pole and guys. The furling drum for the screecher tack can move athwartships on a curved track that is mounted at the prows of both hulls and across the bowsprit/anchor platform, forward of where the anchor is dropped through. This movable tack allows more flexibility with sheeting angles, especially when attempting to work to weather. The cut of the sail allows it to be sailed to within 50 degrees of the apparent wind, as well as excelent downwind performance.
